Black Swan battle of ballerinas: the love connection

Here's the twist. Sarah Lane, Portman's disgruntled dance double may be speaking against our favorite Oscar winner not only because of the lack of recognition (as Portman never acknowledged Lane on her Academy Award speech) but also because of Lane's tight friendship with Isabella Bolyston, the live-in partner Benjamin Millepied left after the latter set his eyes on the beautiful Natalie Portman.

I knew it. There has to be a love connection here. The picture below which was taken just last October shows Sarah Lane (second from the right) with Isabella Bolyston (second from the left).

The two long-time ballerinas have been sharing the stage for years for productions that included Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote and Le Corsaire.

We can't help but wonder what those two discussed during their recent outings. Of course, it's also possible that Bolyston is cool about how Millepied dumped her for Portman. The girl certainly has more class than friend Lane as the former did not go public with her feelings over the break-up.

Let's wait and see until when Bolyston can keep her silence and Lane can shut up about the issue (or non-issue) on who did more for Black Swan.
